I believe talk therapy can get us far, but somatic work can get us further- allowing us to reclaim our body’s inherent resiliency and ability to regulate. I offer somatic work, internal family systems, and guided imagery from a culturally sensitive lens. Therapists should always recognize the cultural, societal, and familial factors that shape who we are and how we live. As a white, cis American, I am actively participating in unpacking my own conditioning and encourage my clients to do the same.
