Opening up and allowing yourself to be vulnerable can be very difficult. I offer an environment that cultivates safety, kindness and open-mindedness. This is a priority in my practice. I strive to make each session as relaxed and smooth as possible, with a little bit of humor thrown in! Since I see the person as a whole, I do not believe in diagnostic labels, therefore I treat the symptoms, not the diagnosis. I believe introspection and self-awareness are the key to finding self-acceptance, healing and peace. That being said, I would feel privileged to join you on this journey!
I offer a warm, non-judgmental approach when working with clients. My background allows me to work with individuals from a holistic, strength-based perspective. I utilize a therapeutic framework that is conducive to meeting your goals. I have completed Level 1 Training of Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and utilize this method when working with couples.
My eclectic experience consists of working with individuals with issues such as: depression, anxiety, career exploration/transitions, forensic issues, trauma, personality disorders and addiction. Collectively, we can work to create a positive path to your comfort to achieve greater happiness and healing.
