Are you uncertain of where you're at in life either emotionally, mentally, or vocationally? Are you struggling to cope with feelings of anxiety or low self-esteem? I help folks from a variety of backgrounds, such as veterans, new parents, BIPOC, queer, and trans individuals, through maintaining a validating space and tailoring my approach to suit your specific needs. I keep an open mind and awareness of current events to ensure I’m observing all of the nuances that come with your intersecting identities. I also encourage men in particular to explore and challenge their concepts of masculinity in a healthy, positive light.
My preferred approach to counseling is person-centered while using a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness techniques. With couples, I apply the Gottman method and emotional focused therapy. Your therapy is always your space - I always keep in mind other modalities to adapt and adjust to your needs.
My ultimate goal as a therapist is to help you be the very best version of yourself that you can be. It is my passion to help you through listening with warmth and understanding while also using evidence-based practices to bring you to change and growth. I always promote an affirmative, positive environment for you to feel safe and heard in.

Breaking the Mold: Men's Emotional Wellness Group
As men, we tend to struggle with opening up to others about our feelings. When we do we often feel uncertain as to how to express ourselves or we worry we might be met with ridicule. This group will create an affirming environment for all men/male-identifying people looking to find ways to better express themselves. We will examine negative stereotypes of masculinity and discover helpful, positive behaviors to replace them. This virtual group starts September 9th and runs for six weeks.
