I have over 30 years experience working in the field of mental health and have developed a pretty straight forward style. I like to focus with a client on what the outcome is they seek from therapy and then help them to develop a plan of how to achieve that outcome quickly and efficiently, versus only focusing on problems and trying to get rid of them.
I realize it often feels strange and awkward when first meeting a therapist. I can assure you that I am pretty laid back and not "judgy".
