I have a wide range in my approach to treatment, but my foundation is deeply grounded in person-centered therapy. I want you to be comfortable being your authentic self, whoever that may be. Clients often gain more awareness and self-acceptance in our work together. A session might look like us exploring the past (but not getting stuck there), understanding what is going on in the present moment (identifying your needs), and how to move forward into the future (by creating meaningful and realistic goals).
I have experience working in community mental health and crisis intervention. Due to the high volume of this work, I have been exposed to, trained in, and comfortable working with all mental health disorders and population groups.
