My treatment approaches is based in research on what produces the best outcomes in therapy, and our job in your therapy sessions is to help tailor that approach to your specific needs. I believe that the connection and trust you feel with me in therapy is the strongest predictor of how much you will benefit from our meetings. I will walk your path alongside you and help you work toward greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, resilience, and personal growth.
I can help with a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, problematic sexual behaviors (like compulsive pornography use), trauma, and grief and loss. I am particularly interested in working with concerns around neurodivergence, like ADHD and autism.
I enjoy working with adults but I have a special place in my heart for teens and young adults. I’ve worked for nearly a decade with teens in various capacities. In addition to my work as a counselor, I am also passionate about mental health advocacy and education.
