Whether you are seeking help as a couple or individual, I want to work with you in exploring what you feel and think so that you can better understand yourself and your relationships with others. Couples often have communication problems that seem to repeat without resolution. Understanding the reasons for these cycles can help you develop the ability to get unstuck. Individual therapy can help you deal with depression and anxiety. This can include coping with such issues as lack of meaning, low self-esteem, shyness, being a highly sensitive person, having Imposter Syndrome, surviving complex trauma, and difficult life transitions.
I have decades of mental health experience and regularly seek continuing education to keep my skills up to date. I integrate therapy approaches according to what might be most helpful to you. I have extensive training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, a scientifically proven therapy for couples. I am licensed to provide therapy to people in GA and WA State.
I like diversity and enjoy working with people from different backgrounds who are dealing with a variety of issues.
