You're not alone. Many people grapple with executive dysfunction, often leading to a cycle of self-blame and paralysis. It can feel like your brain operates on a different schedule, making it frustrating to navigate a world built for a different kind of mind. But here's the thing: you are not broken. You are worthy of love and success, just the way you are. I am a queer, anti-oppressive therapist who wants to find what works for you.
My work centers around building self-compassion alongside practical tools. I utilize techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients identify their strengths and build strategies that work for their unique brain. I specialize in anxiety & OCD, which often overlap with other neurodivergencies.
Together, we can challenge internalized ableism, develop a toolkit for managing expectations, prioritizing, and achieving your goals. I know how scary it can be to reach out and get started on change. I promise I will meet you with compassion, understanding, and always have your best interest in mind - while honoring your expertise on what works for you!
