My approach to treatment is very client-centered - people enter treatment at various stages of readiness and I am here to meet you wherever you may be. Very experienced clinical psychologist -- recently retired from his practice of 35 years in Nashua -- now has a focused practice in Exeter, NH. He sees a small number of individuals and couples. I'm a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, who graduated from Southern New Hampshire University. I have experience working as a counselor for Substance Misuse and Medication Assistant Program. I also provided therapeutic counseling in a psychiatric inpatient hospital. Additionally, I have assisted clients in the community and in a private practice setting, working with clients of 18 years and older.

I can see any client in Maine and NH via teletherapy but I am not credentialed with insurance companies in Maine, only NH. I help guide my clients to understand how their upbringing, worldview, culture, personality, and view of self affect how they are feeling, behaving, and thinking currently. One goal of mine is to help my clients maximize their wellbeing by better understanding themselves through the use of coping tools like mindfulness to slow and calm themselves enough to be able to assess their own thoughts and emotions in the moment so as to minimize regrets while reducing mood and behavioral symptoms.
