With 30 years of experience treating trauma and grief, I find that Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing provides relief more rapidly than traditional talk therapies. I see adults at my location in Campton, NH or via Telehealth to adults in NH. Clients usually have disproportionate disturbance (anxiety, grief, depression) in the present that was conditioned by negative experiences in the past. Clients with symptoms of Chronic Complex PTSD or Substance Use Disorder maintain treatment with a primary therapist and my services are an adjunct treatment as long as symptoms are stabilized.

I currently have some daytime availability. My specialty is working with first responders doing wellness visits and ongoing therapy. I prefer to do in person therapy sessions, but will do some online work, too. Email is the best way to communicate. I am certified by the National Emergency Responder and Public Safety Center (NERPSC). I feel a person's history, current life, and steps they are taking towards the future are all part of the therapeutic process. Prior to joining LifeStance in 2018, Christine spent ten years working in community mental health. She enjoys working with adolescents and adults, and has a wide range of clinical experience treating issues that include depression, mood dysregulation, anxiety, trauma, stress, difficult life transitions, relationship challenges, difficult family dynamics, women’s issues, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss. Christine is bilingual in English and American Sign Language.

She has worked most of her career at Greater Nashua Mental Health where she worked as an outpatient therapist and went on to become the Coordinator for Substance Use Disorders Services. Trish considers it a privilege and honor to walk with those on their path to recovery, healing and overall wellness. Services and Specializations: Trish specializes in working with adults living with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders as well as trauma survivors and PTSD, Anxiety/Panic Disorders, Major Depressive Disorder, and interpersonal relationship challenges.

Dr. Andonucci-Hill specializes in treating clients with mood and anxiety disorders, trauma related issues, personality disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorders, family challenges, and women’s issues. She works with adolescents, and adults across the life span. Her strength based individual and family approach to treatment is eclectic, specifically drawing from psychoanalytic, family relations, relational and cognitive behavioral theories. In her spare time, Dr. Andonucci-Hill enjoys spending time with her family, animals and being active outdoors.

Laura believes that we all have adopted defenses to survive our childhoods that interfere with our functioning as healthy, happy adults. She specializes in overcoming the effects of having grown up in dysfunctional families, reducing anxiety and depressive symptoms and improving marital satisfaction. In her spare time Laura enjoys exercising, meditating and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Hillard has been practicing for twenty years and has practiced and consulted in many different settings. She has worked in community mental health as a clinician, consultant and trainer, owned a private practice for several years, and worked at The Counseling Center of Nashua for ten years. She also continues to consult on issues related to substance use disorders. Dr. Hillard treats clients with a range of issues, including substance misuse and co-occurring disorders, anxiety, mood disorders, life stress, and behavioral health change.

Prior to joining The Counseling Center, Candace was a Clinical Supervisor and Adult Clinician at the Center for Life Management (CLM), a community mental health agency in Derry, NH providing outpatient counseling, assessment and crisis stabilization to adults struggling with a range of short term and long-term mental health conditions. She has also has experience working with cancer patients and their families through Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Candace has worked with older adolescents, adults, and elders. She maintains comfort working with various populations with a diverse range of clinical issues.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, who graduated from Southern New Hampshire University. I have experience working as a counselor for Substance Misuse and Medication Assistant Program. I also provided therapeutic counseling in a psychiatric inpatient hospital. Additionally, I have assisted clients in the community and in a private practice setting, working with clients of 18 years and older.

His professional background includes several years of full-time undergraduate and graduate teaching and counseling experience at Franklin Pierce University, River College, Northeastern University, University of Massachusetts at Lowell, Antioch New England Graduate School, Notre Dame College, and the University of New Hampshire. He has completed internships at Boston University and University of Massachusetts Medical Center at Worcester.

Cheryl has more than 30 years of experience as a social worker and has worked with all ages in a variety of settings. Dr. Jes Leonard is a psychologist who has been practicing since 2016. She currently serves as the Training Director for the post-doc and practicum training program at Lifestance NH and as the Regional Clinical Assessment Director for Lifestance NH/ME. She graduated from West Virginia University with a doctoral degree in counseling psychology and Ithaca College with a masters of science degree with a concentration in sport psychology. Dr. Leonard believes in the resilience of all humans and has a client-centered approach in assisting clients live a more purposeful and meaningful life and providing tools to manage life stressors.

Karin believes in a person-centered, strengths-based treatment approach, and utilizes elements from a variety of interventions, including Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Outside of work, Karin enjoys spending time with family and friends and engaging in activities involving music, and art.
