I have worked with individuals and families facing many challenges, including relationship issues, trauma, ADHD, addiction, depression, and anxiety.
Everyone's journey in counseling is unique. I believe healthy relationships are fundamental to our emotional well-being and fulfillment as humans and this includes relationship to self. I am passionate about addressing systemic barriers to care through social justice work and maintain an ongoing education focused on trauma-informed practices and cultural competence.

Relationship stress, grief, loss, life transitions, a lack of sync or control can all feel overwhelming. When our minds and bodies are out of balance, emotional reactions can intensify, create chronic stress, and lead to other chronic illnesses. Regardless of how great your support system is, it's not easy for friends and family to remain neutral or even patient when you need to talk about what's bothering you. It can cause more frustration and decrease connection. When there are complex or long term pains and struggles, collaborating with someone who IS neutral and focused on YOUR needs helps facilitate healing and lasting peace!

Although I use a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques, I find that a warm, affirming, and mutually co-regulated therapeutic relationship allows for the greatest opportunity for change and transformation.
Seeking out help for a problem that you can’t solve on your own is one of life’s more difficult – and brave – first steps. In my capacity as a clinical psychologist, I have witnessed so many people make transformational changes in overcoming depression, trauma, anxiety, and the problems that arise from both personal history and current difficulties. By tailoring the way I work to meet your specific and unique needs, we can, together, work toward both healing and expanding emergent capacities for positive change.

Therapy for couples and individuals with anxiety in MA and NH. Your relationship is on the rocks. One of you feels alone and misunderstood, the other just wants the fighting to stop. You’ve tried so much to change this relationship and nothing is working. You try to bring up things to your partner in a neutral way but it inevitably spirals into a conflict and before you know it you’re back in that same awful place of disconnection that seems to happen over and over again without resolution. You’re told you’re being too critical, too defensive, not listening enough. You feel like you are constantly walking on eggshells.

I have current openings for self-pay, telehealth clients- I believe everyone is capable of the change they want to achieve, and the first step is reaching out for help. Are you struggling with communication issues in your relationship? Does anxiety prevent you from living the life you want? Is the trauma you experienced impacting your day-to-day life, making it hard to feel safe or to trust? I want to work with you to help you feel better and fulfill your potential. Sometimes it just takes someone else believing in us for us to start believing in ourselves. I take an inherently positive approach, finding the potential in everyone.

Life has challenges and sometimes to meet those challenges we need additional tools, insight and support. Therapy provides a relationship and space you need in order to take a look at the challenges life has thrown at you and how you have navigated them so far. Do the skills you have still work for you? Is there something holding you back from living the meaningful, purposeful life you had imagined? Therapy can be a place to take stock of where you are, where you want to go, and help you develop a plan to get there.

Relationship Issues Therapists
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
