We are an inter-disciplinary team supporting long term sobriety and trauma healing for individuals, couples, youth, and families. Every role and relationship in the family needs support to heal from addiction and trauma. We specialize in the intersection between substance use, sex addiction, betrayal trauma, other trauma, attachment distress, and faith crisis. We promote healing and recovery through cultivating a sober way of life that heals and transforms a person's relationships to their body, to primary partners, children, peers, community, and seeks resilience through meaningful spiritual practices.
Our team supports sobriety from compulsive sexual behavior patterns, substance use, and other addiction interactions. We support growth through gender and sexuality concerns, faith and sexuality crisis, betrayal trauma and relationship repair. Our approach is holistic, non-pathologizing, curiously compassionate, systems, process, and body oriented.

Do you have a secret? A habit you cannot control? Is sex or porn all you think about? Have you tried to stop a sexual behavior, but failed? Facing the Shadow PDX is a weekly men's group supporting recovery from sex and porn addiction, and other problematic, unwanted, habitual sexual behaviors. FTS PDX utilizes the Facing the Shadow curriculum developed by the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals. Over the course of 15 weeks, members explore what addiction is, how it originates in past events and childhood patterns, and most importantly, how an individual can change.

Men’s Group(MG) seeks to empower men to achieve their ideal life rhythm through conversations, community, rigorous self-examination, and healthy life practices. Through the dual arts of learning to tell our stories, and being truly present with another story-teller, we hope to break free of the patterns in which we are stuck and find a way to live as our best selves. Major focuses of MG include learning and implementing healthy paradigms of masculinity, increasing emotional intelligence, improving relationship skills, learning and practicing recovery skills, grief and loss, addressing the shame core, visioning and legacy.
