I want to help set you free. I am certified in DBT for adolescents, young adults, adults and families and also have a certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for eating disorders. My other specialties include substance abuse, eating disorders, depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, stress, relationship difficulties, and grief. In all his work, Chris always looks towards your empowerment and in that provides guidance and helps you to truly recognize your strengths and how to build upon them. Most every appointment is available and is as effective by phone or video chat (Zoom or FaceTime), and can further be more expeditiously scheduled these ways. Guidance, support, and objectivity are key elements in any service provided along with the addition of any tools and action plans as appropriate that have you manifest more of what you want being an active agent of your own change. Chris' experience is with ages 4 and up with children, adolescents, and adults.

My 30+ years of experience enable me to treat a variety of populations and cultures. My degrees in the disciplines of clinical psychology, clinical social work and clinical art therapy allow me the opportunity to utilize many treatment interventions as I assist people to help and empower themselves. My work is collaborative and interactive and includes involvement in all systems associated with the patient as necessary. From the difficult to treat child and adolescent, to the adult facing divorce, occupational crisis, or life re-evaluation, our work together is goal oriented. What do we get from therapy? We must get something, correct? The answer is not straightforward or simple, since each of us will have to assemble or even invent that answer ourselves. In therapy, an encounter emerges, a space, a singular one energized by the need we have to feel better. An encounter with words, sentences, signifiers, even memories that will help us approach the pain. Yes, the emotional pain that at this time is not letting you live at your fullest.

Footprints was started by a therapist who realized that often times the services provided to low socio-economic communities is lacking quality care. We noticed these communities were confronted with long wait times, disrespectful admins, and subpar treatment. The one and only purpose was to exploit the community for profit without providing the level of care deserved. Footprints began from the inspiration to provide quality mental health care to the poorest of communities and treating the clients of this community the same way a rich patient would be treated in a clinic treating affluent clients.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the state of New Jersey treating a range of mental health disorders. (I have a bunch of stuff I specialize in, I'll get into that later). My unique style is what sets me apart from the rest. Clients have told me that I am so different than any other therapist they have ever seen. I will probably be in sweats and you will be greeted by Nelly, my therapy puppy.Food, Drinks, Massage Chair, Fountains, TV, Music, is all in the waiting room to make you feel comfy and more relaxed.
