I am a seasoned psychologist with extensive experience in helping children, adolescents, adults, as well as couples and families. I have been described as warm, supportive and straightforward. In my work, I use a collaborative, strengths-based and relational approach. I was trained at Columbia University, New York University and the Ackerman Institute for the Family. I have served as a faculty member at Teachers College, Columbia University, Adelphi University and New York University. I am dedicated to training the next generation of psychologists and counselors as well as continually learning and improving my skills.

As an licensed clinical social worker and licensed clinical drug and alcohol counselor, I have experience working with adults and couples facing a range of challenges. With a diverse background and extensive experience in various areas including anxiety, depression, couples issues, grief, bipolar disorder, and addiction, I strive to create a safe and inclusive space for clients to explore their concerns and work towards their goals.

As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in both New Jersey and New York Edeline Elicin has made it her calling to help individuals, couples, and family in overcoming life adversities. Edeline Elicin received her Bachelor's degree from Rutgers University- Newark in Psychology, Sociology and minoring in African American Studies. She continued her journey of higher education by attending Seton Hall University, studying in Marriage and Family Therapy with a concentration in Drug and Alcohol Counseling.
