I am dedicated to healing the scars that trauma inscribes on hearts, in minds, through behaviors. I understand the fragility of the heart, the dark and winding paths that are possible for the mind to follow, and the effects which play out in the body. Moments that are beyond our comprehension, beyond our control, that play out in a narrative that is not of our choosing. It is my passion to come alongside the individual – child, adolescent, teen, young adult, adult – to help bring light to the darkness, and to walk with the family to develop new ways of seeing one another and interacting together.
I work with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults in individual, couple, and family sessions. I approach all therapeutic work from a systems perspective as relationships are the vehicle by which we understand ourselves and our world. Attachment theory, emotionally focused therapy, and trauma-informed therapy are at the core from which I practice.
My passion is to see people free — free from past hurts and traumas, from the lies that haunt the present and steal the future. Gaining a greater awareness and understanding of how this life has shaped us allows us the power and ability to decide how we move closer to living the lives we are meant to live...
