I have approximately twenty years of experience working with adolescents, adults and families dealing with issues pertaining to depression and anxiety disorders, past trauma, stress and anger management, family and relationship difficulties, behavioral problems, positive decision making, and grief/loss. As the wife of a retired Air Force veteran, I have a comprehensive understanding of the issues and difficulties facing service members and their families. I also have extensive experience addressing client trauma and aspire to assist clients in reprocessing their trauma so that they can lead full and healthy lives.

Jenn has experience with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings including partial hospitalization, individual and group settings, community-based mental health, and school-based programs. She is an empathetic and diligent therapist who has a passion for assisting others along their journey and works with specialized populations such as refugee mental health, LGTBQ+, perinatal mood disorders and postpartum mental health care. Jenn has experience working with various concerns including severe and persistent mental illness, personality disorders, depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, trauma, and other life events.

I specialize working with children 12 and under. I am also a Certified Geriatric Counselor. I have spent many years working with trauma and crisis children using cognitive as well as play therapy skills. I am a Registered Play Therapist. I worked in Residential Treatment for three years and also worked for three years as the Social Services Coordinator for a nursing home.However I do work with adults as well. I do a parent training group to help parents have better relationshps with their children and help parents of Reactive Attachment Children to have more success with bonding and behaviors.

Dr. Christine Salvatore, LIMHP, LMHP, LMFT, MAC earned a Master of Science Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a Doctorate in Behavioral Health from Arizona State University. Ms. Salvatore has over 22 years of experience in both mental health and substance abuse facilities.

Many of us did not grow up knowing that it was important - and okay - to take care of our mental health. We heard talking about going to the doctor when you are sick, but nothing about seeking counseling - therapy - when our thoughts, feelings, or behaviors aren't well. But seeing a therapist is just as important and normal as visiting your doctor. Our minds and bodies are one, endlessly affecting one another both positively and negatively. If we are unwell physically, then our mental health can suffer AND vise versa.

I have been working in the field of mental health and addiction for over 20 years. I am also a certified hypnotherapist. I treat individuals and couples. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, and addiction. Hypnosis is very effective in treating trauma. I am also a certified master trainer of hypnosis. I treat adults and adolescents with addictive behaviors, depression, anxiety, oppositional behaviors, and/or trauma history. I also help to guide family members of those with addictions. I enjoy seeing the progress that people make in all areas of their life when they are able to put aside addictive behaviors, reduce their emotional pain, and genuinely feel better about themselves. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and have used it to help people heal from trauma and reduce overall anxiety. I also use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Theory in my approach.
