As the parent of a child/teen that struggles with their wounded selves, you have tried everything. The exhaustive interventions that you have tried are going nowhere fast. Throwing in the towel is all that you have left. Your marriage is more daunting than it is invigorating and you keep hitting a wall with connecting to one another. Depression has you stuck in quicksand and the struggle is consuming you. Anxiety has its grip on you and it is controlling your life. You find yourself asking what more can you do? You feel all alone in your struggles and are having more moments of frustration than joy. Asking for help is hard.

I’ve learned very quickly and/or the hard way that walking around with a helmet on wouldn’t make much of a difference at all and would probably just add to the stressors and hardships of life. Today’s world is different. Today’s world is hard. Today’s world can be scary. But most importantly, you don’t have to go through today’s world alone.
