I believe we all have a path and purpose in life. Sometime we need help to overcome obstacles that block our way. I counsel all people, but I specialize in working with those who wish to explore their relationship with drugs and/or alcohol and their supports, survivors of sexual assault or trauma, and life transitions. At the heart of my practice is a genuine care for others, authenticity, and a little humor. I use Person-centered approaches, Mindfulness based techniques, and evidence-based modalities like CBT.

I help youth and families communicate better and enjoy time together more. If you are experiencing relationship difficulties or struggling with the effects of stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, or grief, I would be honored to support you. I am especially passionate about counseling diverse families while they navigate life transitions, identity development, and learning or social-emotional concerns. As a former teacher with eight years of experience in public schools, I am also skilled at supporting students and parents as they work to meet their educational goals.

As a family systems therapist, I believe that individuals are best understood within the context of relationships and through the assessment of our various daily interactions. I specialize in child, adolescent, and adult psychotherapy, which depending on the need, may include couples, whole families, or just an individual.
