I believe that the therapeutic relationship is a safe haven for you to explore, discover and heal the authentic you! After a long day of being what the world needs you to be, HERE together is where we unmask and uncover who you truly are -- HERE is where happiness lives. I have a passion for the therapeutic process by deconstructing learned behavior and patterns while bringing blind-spots into awareness so that motivated clients can make conscious changes and show up in the world, life and relationships joyfully engaged as your true self.

Therapy is not linear, and your journey is uniquely yours. When different parts of your life intersect, it may cause you to experience many feelings, including being overwhelmed. Sometimes, you may need an unbiased perspective to help navigate life's challenges. Other times, you may need someone to listen. Regardless of the reason, I am here to assist you. It's important to me that my clients understand that they're in a safe, judgment-free space as we work together. With an eye for rapport building and being person-centered, I look forward to using my training to work with you toward your therapeutic goals.

How we view ourselves greatly impacts how we feel and interact with the world around us. The most challenging part about this is that we often are not fully aware of how we view ourselves, or how this impacts us, or what to do with the information after we learn this. I strive to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for people to increase self-awareness and build the skills to use this awareness to their advantage. I specialize in anxiety and mood disorders. I aim to assist people in shifting their relationship with stress, anxiety, depression and other unpleasant emotions to move forward with their goals.

If you’re someone who feels like anxiety is taking control of your life—impacting your relationships, work, and overall well-being—you are not alone (I've been there!). Anxiety can manifest in many forms, whether it’s a persistent sense of worry, panic attacks, social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, or even physical symptoms like restlessness or difficulty sleeping. For many, anxiety becomes a constant companion of what-if thoughts, making it difficult to enjoy life or feel at ease. The good news about anxiety is that it's treatable- research shows therapy can be just as effective as medication for anxiety symptoms.

HI Mindful Soul! I'm Keiro and I believe in the power of a compassionate therapeutic relationship while working collaboratively with my clients to explore and address underlying issues contributing to their challenges. Some of my favorite quotes are, "It's so much better to walk with people in life and not run behind them!" or "Bloom where you're planted!". I believe that we all control our own destiny and are co creating. Some times it takes for someone who is unbiased to your life and connected with God's purpose to help you navigate your experiences!

Waitlist for new clients
I enjoy working with adolescents and adults who are going through transition/change, need extra support, or are dealing with on-going struggles. I see therapy as collaborative between therapist and client. I strive to get to know clients on an individual level including your strengths, challenges, goals, and beliefs. My goal is to help you identify aspects of your life that you would like to change and help you to use the strengths you already possess to reach your life goals. I find that clients appreciate that I am compassionate but direct.

There’s this old saying, “Just look towards the light at the end of the tunnel. Everything will be alright.” But what if the tunnel is long and the end feels extremely far away? What we are unable to see where the tunnel ends? What if the tunnel is so dark that we have to focus on not tripping so we can’t take the time to look for the end? Many of us may feel this way in our daily lives. We may feel that we are in this tunnel and are having trouble finding the light at the end of it. We may feel depressed, stressed, overwhelmed or hopeless. But what if I told you that the light at the end may not be the only light?

Female Therapists
Does it matter what gender my therapist is?
In general, this is not an important factor, as there is no relationship between a therapist’s gender and their efficacy. Some clients, however, prefer to see therapists of a particular gender, whether due to their own past experiences with men and women, or ingrained beliefs about how people of different genders think and behave. Exploring the roots of such preferences and considering what one wants to address in therapy can help someone determine whether their therapist’s gender truly matters to them.
Should I see a female therapist?
Many people—not just women—prefer to see a female therapist, either because they believe that a woman will be able to relate to their specific challenges (for example, sexism in the workplace) or because they imagine feeling more comfortable disclosing sensitive information to a woman. Such beliefs may not turn out to be accurate, however, and adhering too rigidly to a gender preference can at times hinder a client from finding the best therapeutic match.
Do therapists get specific training to help with women’s concerns?
Therapists are trained to provide care to clients of any gender. However, some therapists—both men and women—may pursue additional training in feminist therapy, gender-specific issues, or women’s mental health. Female clients may wish to ask prospective therapists whether they have received specific training in the client’s primary area(s) of concern, or whether they have worked extensively with women on issues similar to their own.
How can I inquire about a therapist’s experience in treating women?
It’s OK—even encouraged!—to ask a therapist directly whether and how often they have treated women in the past, or whether they have treated women dealing with the client’s most prominent concern(s). Competent therapists will be happy to share their educational background, preferred treatment modalities, and prior client experience to help an individual find the therapist best suited to their needs.
