My ideal client is someone who is seeking understanding, healing, and personal development. They may want a safe space to vent, tools to manage stressors, and direction. They are looking to work together with me through the journey of therapy.

Are you having difficulty navigating the curveballs of life? Do you feel blindsided and out of control? Therapy is a safe place for you to grow and to experience self exploration. Through the process, you can learn to gain control over your life and have a place to process the inevitable unexpected events that happen. The great thing is, you do not have to do this alone. You've already taken the first step to improve your mental health and I could not be prouder! As Lao Tzu said, "A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step”.

I work with individuals who have trouble with managing stress and relationships. I specifically work with clients who experience Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, and Anxiety. It can be hard to manage symptoms in these areas without effective coping skills and someone to help. I do my best to listen to my client's needs and help them get to where they want to go.

Accepting New Clients! (Telehealth Only) Maybe your emotions sweep you off your feet, but not always in a good way. You use substances, food, or other habits to try and escape these feelings, but ultimately the underlying causes go unaddressed. It's normal to have big emotions, but what would life look like if you learned how to ride these waves instead of feeling like you’re drowning? Although change can feel impossible, I’m here to suggest it is not. I want to walk beside you as you discover and embrace your authentic self, and channel your strengths to cultivate resilience as you work through the tough stuff.

When thinking of your dream life, it involves happiness, purpose, friendships, success, and everything else you've wished for. No matter how hard you try sometimes we're just let down, and life can start crumbling down around us. We can get pulled and pushed in many ways and may feel as if sometimes we have no control over anything. Activities we once enjoyed seem like a task, maintaining relationships become draining, and the best part of the day becomes the end. Your feelings matter and you deserve to be validated, understood, and respected. We need reminders that our life has value just by being the unique individual you are.

Often, people experience stress and anxiety if they believe they do not live up to others' expectations. It can feel extremely isolating if you think you are outside of the "normal". I believe that "normal" is subjective, and that there is no standard "normal". I enjoy working with clients who are wanting to embrace the parts of themselves that they've been conditioned to keep private. I see strength in vulnerability. I think there is so much to be said for a person who is able to acknowledge the pain that they've been through. Without doing so, it can be difficult to learn, heal, and grow.

I believe that the relationship between the client and the therapist IS the therapy. The feedback I hear from my clients is that they feel very relaxed and at ease with me which enables them to speak without censoring. This is the most important aspect of therapy...you must feel that your story is safe and secure and that you are being provided with helpful feedback. My relationship with my clients is a professional one yet my desire is for it to be interactive and informal. I am truly honored to help a person have their best possible life.

I can provide a safe space where clients can explore thoughts, emotions, and behaviors freely. Regardless of cultural background or personal lifestyles, all are welcomed to explore themselves, their needs, their goals, and any concerns they may have, through a relaxed and nonjudgmental therapeutic experience. I aim to encourage, highlight, and empower those who seek clarity through difficult situations or when life appears most murky. Navigating through difficult thoughts or experiences alone may appear daunting at times. You are not alone and therapy can be that outlet to which you will be able to create your own path to healing.

It is normal after something terrible happens to need help! After what happened, you might be having nightmares, thoughts about what happened coming to your mind even when you don't want it to, or feeling like you are back at the time when the bad thing happened even when you're not there. It could also be that it happened a long time ago and you were able to deal with it for awhile but you have reached a point where that is not working anymore for you or maybe your child. These things are hard and it is brave to take that next step to work on it in therapy.
