Parent-Child Interaction Therapy is an intensive coaching program that teaches parents a blend of play therapy techniques and discipline strategies.
If your child suffers from anxiety, depression, or challenging behaviors, or has experienced a traumatic event, it may be hard for you and your child to get through the day. You may worry about your child's future, or feel that you can’t be the parent you want to be when it's a battle just to get through basic daily activities. Individual play therapy, or Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, can turn this around. Both are evidence-based treatments to help children learn how to handle their intense feelings and improve their relationships with others. I will involve you in the treatment process.

You would be a better partner, friend, and parent: someone who is capable of saying "no" clearly, or "yes" wholeheartedly.
You are at your threshold and something has to give. Maybe you have been struggling for years, or maybe you have new stress that feels unmanageable. You've tried changing your diet, journaling, talking it out, and nothing seems to change. It may seem as though things will never be different in your life or your relationship. But, after years of experience working with others just like you, here is the truth: lasting change is possible. My clients come to me because they want a shift and are seeking support as they turn onto a new path. Together, we will explore your thoughts and feelings, using a relational and intentional approach.

Your child may not be exactly in sync with the world around them, facing challenges like Olympic-level fidgeting or having challenges socially or academically. They may feel frustrated, isolated, and misunderstood, with their behavior being challenging and intense in how they relate to others. Such behaviors can create a rollercoaster of emotions, not just for them but also for you as their parent. As they navigate the ups and downs of their social and academic world, it can become overwhelming.

I am certified in Brainspotting, TF-CBT, Grief and trained in EMDR,DBT, CBT, EFT, CPT and Triple P ( parenting program).
One Christmas season it had rained a lot. I attempted to circle my yard with my car to slide out of my drive way, and I got stuck. The more I tried to get out the more stuck I became. Finally, I had to do what I was dreading and call a tow truck to get me out of my own yard! Well, sometimes in life, we get stuck in our own mud, and we have to call help to get us out.
