EMDR, cognitive and dialectical behavior therapies, attachment theory, and mindfulness and meditation practices.
I believe we all have times in our lives when we become overwhelmed and may need help from another person. If this is your first-time seeking help, it can be intimidating to choose a therapist and begin the journey to healing. My goal is to create a safe place for clients to explore challenging areas of their lives. I work with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, substance abuse, relationship issues and life transitions. No matter where you find yourself in the life journey you will be welcomed and provided with compassionate support.

I often utilize cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy and the concept of changing the mindset to a more fulfilling, positive way of thinking in order to also produce positive behaviors.
I have experience working with children (ages 8+), adolescents, adults, and the elderly, as well as couples and families. I deal primarily with clients who have mood and anxiety disorders or issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, anger, grief, and body image issues, and work collaboratively with these clients to create clear goals that will provide them with a brighter, happier future.

I work with adult clients and have a strong background in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy which I implement in my practice.
My approach is centered around the individual and what they hope to accomplish with the therapy process. I prefer to meet people right where they are, collaborating with them develop attainable goals to help them succeed along their journey. There is nothing more fulfilling than seeing a client discover their potential and gain confidence in their abilities to navigate life's obstacles.

I customize each person’s experience and tailor my modality based on their needs, including CBT, DBT, & SFT.
Sometimes we hit a point in our lives where we realize we need the support of a non-biased person to manage difficult thoughts, feelings, and experiences. If you are ready to make a positive change in your life and take back control, we may be a good match. I have experience working alongside children, adolescents, and adults to support them with this journey. I work with each person to prioritize and support in creating small manageable goals to meet their end goal. Sometimes change feels impossible or overwhelming, but I am available to process your next steps to create a sense of wellness and increase your happiness.

Intensively trained in CBT & DBT.
Clients that I tend to work with are seeking to learn ways to better their lives. They may experience conflict with family or friends, have difficulty performing up to potential, have impulsive and emotion driven behaviors, and be regretful of their decisions in recent or distant past. Some of my clients also have dangerous behaviors that they'd like to decrease. My clients have often worked with a number of mental health providers before we meet and have not yet made the progress they'd like to make.

I have worked as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 23 years. I enjoy working with a wide range of individual concerns, including depression, anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, abuse/trauma, addictions, and phase of life issues. I find that many of us have expectations that life will be better, that we will finally be happy, when we reach a certain milestone, or when we do what makes others happy, or if we work hard.

Hi! If you're exhausted, frustrated, angry, disillusioned, or simply in need of guidance in a life transition or situation, you're in the right place. I offer a safe space to dive into the challenges on your plate. Anxiety and depression are my specialities, but please know that I work with clients on a wide array of topics. I often utilize traditional talk therapy, and I regularly pull in CBT techniques that I think might be helpful to you, but should you or I decide a different modality would be useful, we can discuss that as well. I want our sessions to be collaborative and for you to feel heard and supported.

Welcome! I specialize in helping folks to address complex trauma, problems in relationships, and building self-esteem and authenticity in life. It is completely natural to struggle and experience difficulties. Sometimes these difficulties come from experiencing traumatic events, managing difficult relationships, and even feeling as if we do not know ourselves and what we really want out of life. If you are having problems in relationships, with self- esteem, or just managing life stress, counseling can help.

Out of network provider for all insurances You're tired. You have to carry BIG emotions all the damn time with no outlet to let them out. You cry when you’re alone, but put on a smile so the world can’t see you're hurting on the inside. There is no time to slow down because slowing down makes the inner critic grow louder about how awful you are. Perhaps you get some release through disordered eating, but ultimately, that voice comes right back again. The inner critic makes it hard for you to accept yourself and love your flaws. It makes it hard for you to live your life intentionally, with confidence in yourself to use your voice.

You watch as your tween or teen struggle: they isolate in their room, tell you they are fine, but don't want to do the things that used to make them happy. They have big outbursts and seem so unhappy. It's easy to take it on, like you've failed as a parent. You're up at night worrying, wishing it was still as simple as putting a bandaid on a scraped knee. But it's not that simple anymore. The reality is, your tween or teen is dealing with so much: social media, the state of the world, a future that can feel uncertain. And add to that all the regular stressors! It's easy to feel like your family is the only one struggling.

Are you an ambitious BIPOC but fear you won’t have the energy levels or emotional stability to maintain your goals? Do you struggle with needing things to be perfect, doubt your abilities, stress, struggle to focus, or feel down on yourself? Feeling like a burden all the time & hiding parts of yourself makes you feel stuck. Time management is off and your once helpful routines are a distant memory. And still, you're doing the things you need to, but feeling exhausted, alone, & overworked is not sustainable. You know there's a better way to move through the world and you're ready to feel lighter, organized, supported, & sustainable.
