I have a strong grasp on the relationship between ADHD and executive functions, and have supported numerous students, clients, and parents in making sense of the white noise of emotional, organizational, environmental, and interpersonal challenges it presents, as well as to validate and evoke the strengths present because of (and in spite of) the diagnosis.
You are an adult who wants to better understand and manage your relationship to neurodevelopmental challenges like ADHD and ASD. You likely know that these come with immense strengths and often many burdens, seen and unseen. You need a collaborator in making sense of where to begin (if looking for a diagnosis or recently diagnosed), what to expect, and to help you persist toward your desired and valued life. You may be a parent/s who wants to better support a struggling child/teen. or you may be experiencing other developmental and/or executive function challenges.

Network updates may include: Emotional regulation, ADHD management, Family Systems, Community Connections, Resiliency, Communication Skills, Trauma awareness, and more.
I understand human development and thriving is difficult in this lifetime. I am here to be of help. This struggle may be found in a past trauma that is sticks out in your heart and mind as a thorn piercing in. Or maybe it's the neurodivergent attributes of yourself you haven't quite understood. Maybe you've been diagnosed with ADHD at a young age and never learned anything about it or how to take care of it other than taking medication - or worse, thinking that you were inadequate. Maybe it's the navigation of unclear waters around your own psyche. May we create clear pathways together!

For those feeling overwhelmed by burnout, secondary trauma as a helping professional, adulting with ADHD, or the rollercoaster of parenting, know that just starting to look for a therapist is a significant and brave step.
Many of my clients share a common thread: a sense of being caught in a whirlwind of expectations and responsibilities. Those in helping professions often know this feeling all too well - burnout and job-related trauma can sneak up, making the demands of the job feel endless and daunting. Modern parenting can be just as overwhelming as we juggle providing for our families, advancing our careers, and nurturing kind, resilient children. For those of us who are adulting with ADHD, every day can feel like a series of curveballs, even when things are going smoothly. If any of this resonates, you're in the right place.

Many of these individuals have ADHD, Autism, Learning Disabilities, or are Gifted/Twice Exceptional.
What would it be like if you regained a sense of calmness or efficacy in your life, or if those you cared about did the same? Whether you are a parent, a couple, a young adult, or a teen, life can be overwhelming at times, especially if you have difficulty with ADHD, Autism, Social Anxiety, or Giftedness. Sometimes, people turn to video game addiction, conflict avoidance, procrastination, school avoidance or other habits as a means of coping. Clients often find that the best way to get help is to start with a simple phone call, and I am happy to explore the fit with you, coming from a place of complete non judgement.
