Do you feel lonely in your current season of life right now? Perhaps you feel frustrated that things have not worked out and question if there is something wrong with you. You have not felt accepted and that you belong in so long that you have forgotten what it feels like to be known and loved. You are not alone, and I am here to help. I have been there myself and I too needed help and support.

You are sick of feeling the guilt, frustration, and a constant need to “fix” yourself. You’re tired of yo-yo dieting and hating yourself. You want the guilt and shame to go away so you can feel normal. You feel like you gain weight just by looking at food. You crave sugar all the time. It seems like others don’t experience this struggle like you do. You don't feel in control of your emotions or your body. Work and home responsibilities make things seem even harder to control. Life feels like a vicious cycle you can’t escape from. This cycle is exhausting and you are ready for a change.

We’re all just walking each other home - Ram Dass. You find yourself standing at a crossroads, the weight of past traumas, daily stresses, and unspoken fears heavy on your shoulders. The voices of doubt and confusion echo in your mind, turning what was once a clear path into a tangled maze of uncertainty. Each decision feels monumental, each step forward feels shaky, contributing to a profound sense of overwhelm. It’s dark here, and the face in the mirror feels like a stranger, each day a battle with fear. Maybe you wake up each morning dreading the day ahead, gripped by a fear that’s both familiar and indescribable.

The healing journey begins with the desire for personal growth and a willingness to embrace change.
Together, we can achieve this. The first question is, " Are you willing to take care of you now?" For most, this is a difficult commitment to make. For those who are willing, the rewards are immeasurable. Learning how to face problems fearlessly, improve work performance, develop healthy realtionships, or reach a state of peace and joy are within your grasp.

Do you feel that to get in touch with your teen you need to text or Facebook chat? Are you constantly fighting with your spouse over money, discipline and jeolousy? As a middle school counselor I have immersed myself into the lives of adolescents and know how to speak their language. As a parent of two teens I understand the challenges of being a parent and spouse. Are you ready for a positive change?

I specialize in working with adolescents and adults dealing with generalized/social anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, life transitions/building independent living skills, healthy decision making, grief/loss, and emotion management. My master’s research focused on the stigma around seeking mental health services across ethnic minority populations. Having a personal and clinical understanding of the need for mental health supports within these groups has made her passionate about utilizing a multicultural approach focused on acceptance and diverse care.

I am especially passionate about working with folks struggling to manage feelings of anxiety or hopelessness, seek to heal from harmful childhood experiences, and continually grapple with the feeling that they are never "good enough". In our work together, we will practice ways in which you can most effectively cope with life's stressors and improve your confidence.

My passion lies in serving children, teens, and young adults. For the past three years, I have worked as a school counselor where my primary focus has been serving students experiencing anxiety, depression, struggles with low self-esteem, and life transitions such as divorce or the deployment of a loved one. I also enjoy partnering with parents of children who are experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties. Because of my experience in the school system, I value the ability to collaborate with the various systems of a client's life (school, home, therapy, etc.) to best serve them.
