Naylen graduated from Southeastern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and from Capella University with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Naylen’s desire as a clinician is to counsel clients through the help of the Holy Spirit, while drawing on her years of education and experience in the counseling field. Naylen utilizes many different interventions and modalities within sessions such as CBT and DBT, but her primary focus is Solution Focused Based Therapy (SFBT).
Naylen has experience working with individuals, families, and groups, specializing in working with youth and adolescents, which she gained during her time working in an residential adolescent mental health facility.
Naylen has a individualistic approach of understanding different ways to help those who are in a time of crisis and deep, debilitating despair. Naylen’s heart is to see others healed from their trauma and is passionate about pointing her clients toward The Mighty Healer, who is Jesus.
