Often when we are feeling anxious or overwhelmed we can become unsure of ourselves which launches us into an exhausting cycle. My mission is to help you take on your important life roles with reflection, empathy, and the bravery to take a new approach to the challenges you are experiencing. I provide therapy to adults who are experiencing anxiety, challenges in relationships and parenting, are exploring their identity, or are wanting to heal from their trauma history. I also provide therapy to children ages 0-11 who are experiencing social, emotional, behavioral challenges. All services can be provided in English or Spanish.
I have worked in the field of mental health for over 13 years providing services to adults and children and families. I used interventions that are backed by research and also grounded in your personal and cultural values and identity. I create a space where you can be your authentic self, feel supported, and be challenged when needed.
As a social worker I am dedicated to social justice and confronting structural racism and I integrate a culturally affirming framework into all of my work. I am the daughter of immigrants from Colombia and Peru. I am a parent to a toddler who gives me plenty of opportunities to practice what I preach. It takes a village and I would love to be part of yours!

Parent Workshop for Child Sexual Abuse Prevention
91% of childhood sexual abuse is perpetrated by someone the child or child’s family knows. This means that simply teaching “stranger danger” is not enough to protect our children, however, most parents don’t know what to do instead. In this virtual workshop you will be given tools to empower your young child around body safety and learn how to educate family members in order to create a community that supports and protects your child which reduces the risk of childhood sexual abuse occurring.
