My purpose and passion is to help people who have experienced addiction and mental health issues (like myself). Let's transcend your painful experiences together so that you can achieve genuine and lasting fulfillment in life. My therapeutic approach is derived from several evidence-based and trauma-informed models of intervention. I believe in a highly-collaborative approach, and will individualize therapy to suit your specific needs and preferences. Specialties/Experience: Substance-Related and Addictive Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Trauma and Stressor-Related Disorders, Bipolar-Related Disorders, and Personality Disorders. Issues related to grief and loss, relationships, life transitions, spiritual and faith crises, as well as existential concerns related to values and identity.
Unfortunately, I cannot accept insurance-based reimbursement at this time. I currently have very limited space on my caseload and can only accept new clients who are able to private-pay. Groups
Recovery Intensive Outpatient Program Director
I am the IOP Director for a Recovery Intensive Outpatient Program at Red Willow Counseling & Recovery. Our clientele includes people struggling with addictions and co-occurring disorders. We currently have a daytime Recovery IOP, as well as an evening IOP. For those suffering from mental health issues only, we offer a daytime Mental Health IOP. Our programs include urine analysis monitoring, one therapy session, one case management session, and nine hours of group therapy per week (including psychoeducation and process groups). If outpatient therapy doesn't meet your needs, I can help facilitate entry into treatment at a higher level of care.
