Hi, I’m Nate Hooper, and am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience as a professional therapist. I work primarily with a CBT approach with adolescents, couples, and families. I typically work with individuals, couples, and families experiencing relational issues, and symptoms of depression, anxiety, grief, relational and work stress, parenting, and other related issues.
I utilize a Cognitive Behavioral Therapeutic approach, heavily influenced by REBT, when working with individuals, couples, and families. I incorporate components of both DBT and Structural Family therapy to support the counseling process.
I work on creating a safe environment to explore some of the more complicated areas one may be struggling with. I like to incorporate humor to help balance the difficult topics and the discomfort of self exploration.
