Along with my dog, Pippa, I specialize in treating folks with mental health challenges related to an ADHD diagnosis. I offer services to adults and kids, including individual and family therapy. My goal is to support you in discovering a path beyond "just surviving", a path with less loneliness and more wholeness.
I firmly believe in the transformational potential of therapy. I also believe that suffering - often the most intense suffering - is a prerequisite to growth. Leveraging the mind-body connection and blending elements of CBT, DBT, narrative, bilateral stimulation and memory-work in a trauma-informed environment, I believe growth is inevitable.
I grew up in the Midwest, earned my masters degree at Columbia University in New York, and found a home in Portland. I am a dad to humans, dogs, and cats. The best part of most days lately is coming home to my 4 year-old barreling towards me for an enthusiastic hug. Being outside on a sunny day is my favorite. Go Blazers!
