I received my Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of North Florida, minoring in Criminal Justice. I went on to earn my Master’s of Social Work Degree from the University of Southern California with a concentration in Children and Families. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has several years experience working with individuals seeking to overcome Depressive and Anxiety Disorders, Bi-polar Disorder, PTSD, grief and loss, as well as difficulty managing stress. While there is no cookie-cutter approach to working with different mental disorders, I have a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (
I have experience as a program supervisor for a non profit community mental health agency in which I developed mental health and substance abuse programs to the underserved within the community.
As the Director of Court Services for a local community health agency, I built programs to support individuals presenting with co-occurring disorders with drug related offenses. Within this role, I received the "Game Changer" Award for organizational commitment, dedication and innovation with a client centered approach for 2019.
