Humans are wired for connection. There are many things that occur within our lives that leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves and others. This can lead to experiences of feeling lost, overwhelmed or stuck in repetitive patterns that cause distress. For as long as I can remember I have been passionate about connection. Connection with oneself and others is such a valuable aspect of our human experience.

I believe the key to effective therapy is to build a strong therapeutic alliance and facilitate an experience of connection where people can start the process of healing and change. My goal in therapy is to help you feel confident and empowered to take control of your life and become more connected with yourself and others.

I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. I am a limited licensed professional counselor through the State of Michigan. I work relationally and emotion focused so we can take an honest look at your feelings and experiences to promote healing.
