I use integrative, holistic and evidence-based practices to help those struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating, and trauma. I focus on the integration of somatic, or body-centered therapies to help someone heal both in their mind, and in their body. My hope is to help my clients experience change from the inside out. I also believe in facilitating a culturally sensitive space that rejects assumed beliefs about someone based on their size, shape, gender, race or ethnicity.
I'm a Registered Play Therapist with extensive training in expressive arts and play therapy modalities. To facilitate therapy, I use a virtual sandtray, & play room to help children/adolescents. I also offer therapeutic gaming sessions using popular video games (Roblox, Minecraft, Fortnite & more). Therapeutic gaming sessions are open to everyone who plays!
I understand seeking help can be challenging, and sometimes the hardest part of healing. My hope is to create a safe place where we can work together collaboratively.
