Grief can be transformed through the application of mindful practices and body movement to realize acceptance, compassion, and inner strength toward greater resilience. Come together to learn the healing practices of mindful awareness and movement, including tai chi, qi gong, and yoga postures that can easily be practiced on your own. Mindful Self-Compassion
![Photo of Natalie Wasiluk, MSW, LICSW, Clinical Social Work/Therapist](https://photos.psychologytoday.com/ec70255e-e265-45c5-b455-ccb5b5111609/1/320x400.jpeg)
Mindful Self-Compassion is an evidence-based training program designed to increase your emotional resources to meet life’s challenges, old and new. The MSC curriculum was developed by Drs. Kristen Neff & Christopher Germer. This workshop is suitable for everyone, including the general public, healthcare professionals, mindfulness or yoga teachers, coaches, and educators. Over the past decade of researching self-compassion, we’ve learned that we can’t berate ourselves into optimal health, happy relationships, or career success. In fact, research shows that self-compassion is much more likely to lead to long-term wellbeing than harsh self-criticism.
