Do you feel stuck in negative thought patterns? Having a tough time moving past a traumatic experience? Are you struggling to express and enforce boundaries with others? Sometimes talking with family or friends can help, however, sometimes you may need more. This is where I can help. I'm passionate about working with young adults (18+), adults, couples, and families to find balance and re-establish purpose in their life. I have a special interest in helping people learn skills they can use to decrease anxiety, depression, and trauma impact to promote higher self esteem. My dog, Charlie is in the office to cuddle!
I am certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Gottman Couples therapy, Solution Focused Brief therapy, Dialectic Behavioral therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral therapy. I am an Approved Clinical Supervisor and provide clinical supervision to those pursuing licensure!
As a therapist, my main goal in working with you is for you to feel empowered and develop an increased understanding of yourself. I have found therapy to be most beneficial when it is collaborative and clients are motivated for change. I will provide a safe space for you while offering my objective perspective and expertise.
