Hi! I’m Natalie, a bilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of New York. I have over 11 years of experience working in the helping profession with the last 7 years focusing on providing direct psychotherapy services. I specialize in working with adults experiencing complex trauma that stems from childhood experiences & relationships, as well as with members of the LGBTQ community. I help individuals learn different ways to cope with & manage the anxiety & depression that often comes as a result of trauma.
My approach to therapy is one that is warm & supportive. I believe in meeting people where they are with compassion & with an open, non-judgmental mind. I work from a psychodynamic, trauma-informed lens & I implement techniques from the person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, & strength-based approaches in order to tailor to you & your specific needs.
