My approach to therapy is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Together we’ll approach your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors with a sense of curiosity. I also take a person-centered and trauma-informed approach to helping clients, and often incorporate aspects of mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
Clients who tend to do well with me appreciate using light humor in session and applying therapeutic work between sessions. Many of my clients have found value in incorporating their creative interests into our work, allowing us to create a space in which you feel free to connect with and embrace your authentic self.
