In my practice, the most important foundation is the therapist/client relationship. My work tends to be holistic but I frequently employ humanistic, cognitive, and psychodynamic theories. Therapy is an opportunity for the client and therapist to work together, so I encourage clients to explore what modalities they think might work for them as well.
My goal is to provide an environment that feels safe, even through difficult conversations. I typically present with a calm demeanor, and my sessions are meant to feel judgment free. Ideally therapy is a partnership for client and therapist to find meaning, solutions, and most of all peace. I'm looking forward to learning more about you and helping you grow.
