| español My goal as a therapist is to help and support human beings maximize strengths while gaining insight into draining and unproductive behavior patterns. I also help individuals dealing with communications issues in general, marital or couple relationships. I focus my work on developing a partnership with my patients in order for them to find the best way to cope anxiety, depression or any other mental health condition.
I moved to the United States in 2007, and I realized how important it was to have a plan to insert myself into a new society. As an immigrant, female, and minority finding a place in the community were not easy. To accomplish this transition, many things had to be in place and mental health was the most important aspect.
After adjusting to my new environment, I decided I wanted to further my professional career in a way to help others. I wanted to learn how to help, support, and provide strategies for others who struggle with mental health issues. As a clinical therapist, I am familiar with and use a variety of therapeutic approaches according to the patient’s needs.
