I am a relational and psychodynamic therapist who works with adults, adolescents, couples and families dealing with issues of depression, anxiety, life transitions, marital stress, relationship problems, substance abuse and career related concerns. I use a supportive, explorative and collaborative approach to help clients create a life of health and balance. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University.
Areas of speciality include treating mental health problems such as mood and anxiety disorders. Other areas of treatment include relationship problems, pregnancy related concerns, substance abuse issues, marital or family stress, career concerns, grief and loss, and life transition issues.
I create a safe, non-judgemental therapeutic environment where clients can explore their concerns, identify obstacles in their life and discover new self-narratives. Through this process clients develop new coping skills, work towards life goals and create healthy, sustaining relationships.
