I most often work with with depression, anxiety and relationship issues. I help people in recovery from addiction find a satisfying life, work with those with more complicated mental health issues and also work with those with a history of trauma. My style is to work collaboratively with my clients. This means I help set reasonable and attainable goals for treatment.
I am California-licensed psychologist and am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner which means I pay attention to how the body responds to emotional distress. I live outside of California but my license allows me to work with California residents. All sessions are through telehealth.
I find my clients fascinating. I appreciate each person's journey and how that person has tried address emotional issues. I believe each of us is doing the best we can with the tools we have. Therapy allows us to add tools to our set of coping skills.
