I often work with individuals, couples, and families, helping them achieve their personal goals. Many issues addressed in therapy include managing and reducing Depression, Bi-polar and Mood disorders and their symptomology. Anxiety disorders; OCD, Panic disorders, Phobias. Identifying triggers and strategies to help the individual lessen symptomology and increase coping skills are essential. I also assist individuals coping with ADHD, self esteem issues, learning healthy life skills, utilizing effective problem solving skills, and developing relaxation skills. I also work with induvials coping with situational events, and loss.
I assist clients by guiding them through difficulties in their relationships, and helping them to obtain healthy, positive interpersonal relationships. I also assist families with implementing positive parenting skills, healthy coping skills, and effective communication. Understanding feelings and managing emotions are also essential to healthy growth.
I actively pursue seminars to enhance my knowledge in the latest treatments and techniques. Recent seminars include: Bi-Polar and Depression, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Habits of Healthy People, and Food, Mood and Cognition. My goal is to merge these updated techniques with previous knowledge and experience to help others more proficiently.
