I believe that therapy can be a safe relationship where a person is given time and space to explore challenging things that have happened in life. Knowing that you aren't required to carry your burdens on your own is a relief that I strive to give ALL of my clients in therapy.
With many years in the mental health field, I've come to find that true healing happens when people are provided with emotionally safe places to explore their feelings and life struggles. I utilize interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to reduce symptoms as quickly as possible prior to exploring core issues in a more in-depth manner.
