This work is my passion. In addition to working with individuals facing mental health issues such as depression, anxiety and difficulties with navigating life events I have specialized training in healing trauma, grief, childhood issues, and working with behavioral and substance addictions. I am deeply committed to respecting the dignity of each individual and creating a safe emotional environment to heal obstacles and difficulties in a positively focused way. I am committed to being culturally sensitive and aware of each individual's uniques assets and differences and helping them strengthen that as a part of who they are.
I utilize a spiritual, holistic, wellness perspective and am trained in energy psychologies, CBT, positive psychology, and experiential approaches with am emphasis on mindfulness. I believe traumas may underlie many mental health/ addiction issues and can require interventions in addition to traditional talk therapy.
Each client possesses a unique blend of strengths, affinities,and experiences in addition to the obstacles they are facing that bring them into therapy. My hope for you is that we can envision a path through therapy that results in creating your idea of a meaningful and abundant life.
