Are you feeling stuck? Do you struggle to change patterns of behavior you are unhappy with? It is possible to experience personal growth regardless of how unmotivated or out of control you may feel right now. I am a dance/movement therapist (LCAT) who received my Master’s degree from Pratt Institute. I am interested in promoting body liberation for all of my clients through increasing the connection between the mind and body. As a Black therapist, I am committed to empowering all in marginalized bodies, especially those who identify as BIPOC and those living in fat bodies.
I specialize in eating disorders and have worked extensively with clients suffering from anxiety and depression. I have a deep understanding of the many systems that can prevent people from recovery. My work serves to provide clients with the autonomy to seek healing that fits them and their many identities, instead of using a one size fits all approach.
Our practice is In-Network with all Healthfirst Commercial & Medicaid plans and all Cigna plans. (Please note that we accept Medicaid plans through Healthfirst and Cigna only).
