My role as a therapist is to hold a welcoming, safe space and to provide knowledgeable, dependable support as you discover who you are underneath all those layers of self that you’ve created in order to survive. More and more people are beginning to trust it is safe to relinquish the identity they cling to, the life which they carry so much conflict around.
What is to be revealed is entirely up to you and how much digging you are wanting to put into the healing and uncovering process. This requires a certain level of vulnerability, but there is no rush as you learn to honor your own pace and work through learning and communicating what you need in order to feel comfortable opening up.
A massive part of my journey has involved mindfulness and meditation. I profoundly believe you are the answer to understanding and relieving your suffering. Talking through the pain and sitting with your options can be really helpful to move forward if you are feeling stuck or alone. We deserve to see what magic happens when you act from that seed of love.
