My mission is to help bridge the gap between where you and your child are and where you want to be. I am a passionate child and adolescent therapist with a sense of play and humor. I bring unconditional compassion and empathy as I believe it can be a meaningful mode of healing and expression. Everyone deserves someone who can offer a non-judgemental and supportive space, and finding the right therapist for your child/teen can be a big step. I am a multicultural and bi-racial clinician and my goal is to provide culturally competent therapy and create the safest space for you and your children to share your story with me.
My approach is eclectic, weaving together many modalities, with a strong foundation in mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, relational therapy, and solution- focused/strength-based approach to help you gain relief and build on existing strengths.
I have a special passion for working with young children, tweens, adolescents, and young adults facing behavioral challenges, life transitions, academic concerns, anxiety, depression, familial conflict, and grief. As well as collaborating with Hispanic/Latinx and BIPOC clients.
