The journey through life can have difficult moments and sometimes we need additional support and guidance. Sometimes, we've been struggling with intrusive thoughts or want to better understand our feelings and/or behaviors. You don't have to be alone. Finding a therapist you can trust and feel comfortable sharing your innermost thoughts with can be challenging. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment and believe in working in partnership with each person to help them develop and accomplish goals and learn the skills to live their best lives. I actively listen with a warm, empowering, and empathetic style.
Areas of focus include depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, relationships, PTSD, parenting, and family issues to name a few. I am also skilled at working with children, adolescents and young adults who are struggling and often experiencing conflict with parents, school, and peers. These challenges can affect schoolwork, relationships, and home life.
I help them understand difficult emotions and work together to build skills to improve confidence and relationships with others and themselves. Family work is incorporated with children and adolescents. I have worked in inpatient and outpatient settings in both mental health and addiction recovery.
