In a therapeutic setting, I strive to provide the space for clients to shed the external expectations of who they should be, and instead find the strength in who they truly are. For those who know exactly what they want to work through, to those who just sense that life does not feel comfortable, I am here to help explore life experiences and how they have shaped the behaviors and emotions in the person one has become. From there we can work together to clarify a brighter path forward.
I typically utilize an integrated approach, combining methods from person-centered, narrative, cognitive, and existential therapy.
I am focused primarily on adults experiencing life transitions (young adult to adulthood, parenting challenges, loss of physical capabilities due to illness/injury), burnout from emotionally-taxing work and personal obligations, family transitions, as well as depression, anxiety, trauma, challenges with self or body image, and adult ADHD.
