All are welcome to reach out. I offer a free 35 minute intro session, I invite you to email me to schedule a time. I specialize in Trauma, Relationship Challenges, Suicide, Emotion Regulation, Anxiety, Cultural Challenges, Work Challenges & Eating Disorders. My current work & previous experience includes: NASA, DEIB Specialist (Current); Santa Rosa Jr. College, Director of Residence Life (Current); Pacific Union College, Psychology Professor (2024); University at Buffalo, Assistant Director of Counseling (2020-21); Dartmouth, Research Coord. (2020); Cornell University, Psychologist (2016-2019).
My work bridges developmental psychology, social psychology, and personality psychology, and examines the self-conceptions or mindsets that individuals of all ages use to structure the self and guide their behavior, motivation, self-regulation, and achievements. We dedicate time to understand & practice emotion regulation skills and the thoughts that emerge.
Together we will consider factors for maintaining wellbeing, while also exploring relationship dynamics, internal narratives, culture, and society. Sessions are interactive, and advocating for clients feels especially purposeful. We also dedicate time for deeper reflection by incorporating sensory, art, music, and energy work techniques along the way.
