I enjoy working with children, adolescents and families. Most of my experience has been with younger clients facing Domestic Abuse, Sexual Abuse, Family Conflict, Depression, and PTSD. I believe it is important for me to have a collaborative professional relationship with each client so that we can collectively meet the client's needs.
I utilize a multi-modal approach, my style includes components of Culturally Sensitive, Crisis Intervention, MBCT (Mindfulness-Based) and Person Centered/ Client Centered care. I believe that we all do the best that we can with the tools that we have and we owe it to ourselves to constantly strive to expand our emotional toolboxes.
